My name is Jessica and I have always loved old furniture having grown up in a beautiful old Georgian house in Limerick. I spent lots of time going to second hand furniture stores before we built our house and bought some lovely pieces!
Over the years I painted furniture from around my home & upcycled everyday items with various brands of paint but during the 2020 Covid lockdown I really took to it to keep me busy.
I discovered the wonderful Dixie Belle paint products and so many fantastic online tutorials that the brand has available from all of its furniture artists. Countless hours of research really helped me to understand how the paint and all its non-paint products can be used in so many ways and was a one stop shop for everything you need unlike other brands. I have been using Dixie Belle products ever since then transforming furniture into new creations and making some upcycled crafts items which has definitely become my passion.
